I love my boyfriend...so much. He treats me with respect, he takes care of me, he listens to me, he just loves me, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted in a boyfriend. But for some reason, my mom hates the fact that i am with him. She feels that he just isn’t the right fit for me. I know its because she doesn’t know him like i do...i try to explain to her why i love him so much but she just doesn’t get it. I’ve made up my mind that no matter how she feels, he's the one for me. But i just wish she could understand. What more can i do to open her eyes?

When it comes to parents and boyfriends it can be VERY difficult, especially moms. I know it may seem like she hates him and doesn’t want you to be with him. Trust me when I say its not him she doesn’t like you could date the Pope and she would hate that too.! But its all because she loves you and doesn’t want to see her little girl get hurt. And she just has your best interest at heart. I know it may be a little difficult to see it that way and you just feel like she hates your boyfriend, but look at it like this: if you and him have a fight who is the first person you’re going to run to.?? Your mom of course.! And the last thing she wants to see is her baby girl hurt by someone else. So don’t feel like she hates him because that’s not the case, she just loves you and doesn’t want anyone to hurt your feelings. =)

She's Just Not That Into You...

I know most of the time I have girls asking me for advice about guys, and how do I know if he likes me, and things like that. But what people (especially my guys) fail to realize is that just like the guys us ladies send mixed signals and leave the guys confused too so I’ve decided with the help of a few friends to do a few “She’s Just Not That Into You” tips for the guys , so you know what’s going on….

10. She acts like she doesn’t know you in public.
9. She gives you a fake name and number.
8. She doesn’t text you back after a 12 hour period.
7. She doesn’t get excited when you tell her you’re going to be home alone tonight.
6. Her friends know about you as JUST A FRIEND, and she reminds you and them EVERY chance she gets.
5. She talks to you about her guy problems and the guy isn’t you.
4. She only hangs out with you every blue moon when she’s bored-always on her time-never on yours.
3. She frequently reminds you that she enjoys being single.
2. She never invites you to do ANYTHING.!
1. Every time you try to have sex she’s on her cycle, has a headache, is sick, or has work in the morning.!!

And last but not least….

She starts a sentence with “You know you’re one of my best guy friends but….”

This is usually followed with things like:

You know I don’t see you like that right.?
