So I was sitting in the car with one of my guy friends and he made a very valid point as we were talking about relationships … he said that guys put girls in categories … FRIEND, FUCK BUDDY &. GIRLFRIEND … along with a few others but those were the 3 that stuck out to me the most … two days prior to this my mother told me something that I don’t think I will EVER forget … she said “men place women on a pedestal its our choice if we’re going to stay up there or if we’re going to climb down” … that of course got me thinking … =) if we’re already placed on a high pedestal with the potential of being a girlfriend WHY would we take the option of climbing down &. messing that up.?? And I came to the simple conclusion that we don’t know how to sit back shut up and take a compliment … we are also under the impression that if we don’t give it up right away that they wont like us … NEWS FLASH if you give it up right away you’ve just taken about 12 steps down that pedestal and have gone from a potential “girlfriend” to a definite “fuck buddy” in the matter of one night … so if you feel like he’s pressuring you to “get it in” its NOT pressure it’s a test &. if you give it up and give into the pressure you my dear have just FAILED.!! So the next time you find yourself in a situation where you’re feelin like you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place hear my voice when I say “DON’T DO IT.!!” I promise it will save you in the long run … and if he decides he wants that girl that SUPER easy &. gives it up on the first night then LET HIM.!! He wouldn’t have appreciated you in the first place.!!!
